About the NAPSA Scholarships Program

Each year, NAPSA offers over 30 scholarships for our members to attend key pharmacy conferences across the country, as well as funding to facilitate rural placements. The scholarships program aims to improve equity of access to professional development and experiential learning opportunities, ensuring that financial or geographic barriers do not limit students’ ability to engage with the pharmacy profession. By supporting attendance at national conferences and placements in rural and regional settings, the program helps students broaden their clinical exposure, build professional networks, and develop the skills and confidence needed for their future careers.

Applying for a NAPSA Scholarship

NAPSA Scholarships are open to eligible members and are awarded through a competitive but accessible application process. Applications typically involve short written responses to a set of questions, outlining your interest in the opportunity, your motivation to attend, and how the scholarship would support your professional development.

All applications are assessed by the NAPSA Scholarships Committee against set criteria, with an emphasis on fairness, and the potential impact of the opportunity on the student’s learning and career pathway.
