NAPSA branches compete again to donate the most blood

This year Australian pharmacy students collectively saved over 770 lives through blood donations in our annual Vampire Cup!

This is an amazing collective achievement and NAPSA would like to thank each branch that participated for all their hard work, as well as every student who donated – we appreciate you!

The top three branches who tallied the most donations were:

  • 1st place: JCUPSA (92 donations)
  • 2nd place: TAPS (36 donations)
  • 3rd place: BAPS (21 donations)

Remember that blood donations are needed all the time, and if you or anyone you know is in a position to donate, it is something you can do even after the conclusion of the Vampie Cup.

Immediate Past President of NAPSA Flynn Swift elected to international body

The National Australian Pharmacy Students’ Association (NAPSA) congratulates immediate past President Flynn Swift on his election as President of the International Pharmaceutical Students Federation (IPSF).

Mr Swift’s Australian presidency saw the first NAPSA Congress since the COVID-19 pandemic began, an increasing focus on advocacy for students, and the strengthening of relationships with key industry stakeholders. With this demonstrated experience and work ethic, we know the IPSF will be well served under his leadership.

NAPSA is a longstanding member organisation of the IPSF, and we are excited to continue working with our international partners in delivering stronger outcomes for pharmacy students at home and around the globe.

Sincerely,
Bano Serhan
National President
