As Policy Chair for NAPSA, Alyssa leads the development and review of student-focused pharmacy policies, creates practical advocacy resources for branches, and works to ensure policies are accessible, actionable, and visible through collaboration and effective communication. Alyssa Chao is a third-year Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours) / Master of Pharmacy Practice student undertaking her studies at The University of Sydney. She bridges her studies with practical experience, being employed at a pharmaceutical company and in her position as a Student Pharmacist. Alyssa is particularly passionate about the pharmaceutical industry and regulatory affairs, with a strong interest in Medical Science Liaison pathways as a long-term goal of contributing to accessibility and advancement in healthcare.
