APP2008 Gold Coast: 27-30 March 2008

NAPSA is proud to be attending the Australian Professional Pharmacy Congress and Trade Exhibition on the Gold Coast in March 2008. Our new look exhibition stand will be on show and we would greatly appreciate a visit from anyone associated with or interested in NAPSA and what we do. We also encourage all pharmacy students and pre-registration pharmacists to consider attending the conference or visiting the trade exhibition where possible.

NAPSA Congress Sydney: 23-29 January 2008

National Student Business Plan Competition

The first ever National Student Business Plan Competition has been won by four students from Griffith University who pitched their 'Pharmacy 210' concept to delegates at the 2007 Pharmacy Women's Congress. NAPSA wishes to congratulate the winning team, all the finalists and everyone who took part, and strongly encourages all pharmacy students to consider getting involved in this initiative in 2008.

NAPSA Vampire Cup 2007

NAPSA has joined forces with the Australian Red Cross Blood Service this year to launch the inaugural NAPSA Vampire Cup. The six week competition is run between NAPSA's twelve branches to see who can donate the most blood and ultimately take home the Vampire Cup! The competition starts on the 20th August and runs until the 28th September.

NAPSA, in conjunction with ‘Stitches Education’, has launched a First Aid Certificate available to all eleven NAPSA branches. Nationally

World Medical and Pharmacy Students' Symposium (WorldMaPS)

Vision: a future in which health care professionals worldwide cooperate with their colleagues in other health care disciplines for the benefit of their patients. WorldMaPS, to be held in Malta from 7-12 November 2005, will be the largest ever international meeting between both pharmacy and medical students working towards a common goal. WorldMaPS site >>

IPSF Congress 2005 Germany

The 51st IPSF Congress was held in Bonn, Germany. Several delegates from NAPSA attended, including Amy Tria, the 2004 PSA Pharmacy Student of the Year.


NAPSA Congress Brisbane 2005 concludes...

The largest Congress in recent NAPSA history recently concluded. Around 300 pharmacy students from around Australia came to Brisbane, Queensland, for a week of Diversity in Pharmacy.
