National Australian Pharmacy Students’ Association

The Bendigo Association of Pharmacy Students is a non-for-profit student association, based at Bendigo Campus within La Trobe University.

The Bendigo Association of Pharmacy Students (BAPS) was set up in 2000.  BAPS represents approximately 160 of the 250 Pharmacy students at Latrobe University’s Bendigo campus.  The aims of BAPS are to link current students with the outside professional environment as well as helping students to network between year levels.

BAPS endeavours to:

  • Provide networking opportunities between fellow pharmacy students on a state and national level and between pharmaceutical focused organisations.
  • Promote pharmacy awareness within the community and on a tertiary education level.
  • To promote the rights of a pharmacy student on experiential placements and within external pharmacy student employment.
  • To provide vocational options for future employment to pharmacy students.
  • To provide further educational opportunities to pharmacy students through external resources.
  • To provide pharmacy students with current professional information.
  • To portray the role as future health care advocates.
